The lower canyon Whitewater trips launch four times daily at 9am, 11am, 1pm, and 3pm from West Table river access.
Where do we meet?
We meet at the pick-up site located 13 miles south of Jackson near Hoback Junction, see map. Special arrangements may also be made for different locations, including a pick-up spot in downtown Jackson.
How long does an adventure trip take?
The trip lasts about 1hr. 20 min. on the water. Travel time to and from the launch/pickup will vary depending upon traffic conditions.
What about kids?
Children must be at least 6 years old for all river trips.
What should I wear on a rafting trip?
Feel comfortable wearing swimming suits, lightweight pants or shorts, T-shirts and sandals or river shoes. Hats and sunglasses need to be secured. Sunscreen is a must! Fleece and synthetic jackets and socks will comfort the ride if it's cold. We recommend a rain jacket for rainy weather, and wearing layers for changing conditions.
What NOT to wear!!
We do not recommend wearing heavy clothing, including blue jeans, cotton sweatshirts or sweat pants. As soon as you get wet you're gonna regret it! You must wear shoes that will stay on your feet. Flip flops will not wor.
What should I bring for the rafting trip?
We provide lifejackets, the raft and paddles. Bring extra sunscreen, and a towel to dryoff afterwords.
What NOT to bring!!
Do not bring camera's unless they're waterproof, and can be secured to your body. Keep in mind that you will be busy paddling, not taking pictures. Also, pictures are taken by a professional company, Float-O-Graph at both Lunch Counter and Big Kahuna, and can be purchased in downtown Jackson. Don't bring anything that you can't afford to lose.
Do I need to have experience?
No experience is required! Our rafting guides are all professionally trained, and we have one of the highest safety ratings of all the companies on the river.
Is it safe?
Teton Whitewater and its associates have over 44 years of experience in rafting, canoeing, and hiking in the Jackson Hole area. We are proud to have one of the best safety records on the Snake River.
What are the risks?
River Running - has inherent risks. Our top concern is your safety. All adult particpants and guardians of minors must sign a risk acknowlegement form. This form states that you understand and accept the inherent risks.
Guides have the final say in seating and boat assignments of all trips.
