Recommended Gear:

This Grand Teton rafting trip will be mostly dry, although there might be a few minor splashes throughout. This is a good trip to bring your camera, some water or snacks, and enjoy the scenery. We provide life jackets, the boat, and the guide. If it is rainy out, we also have ponchos available for your use.

On this Snake River white water rafting trip, you will get wet. We recommend wearing clothing that will dry quickly during a Grand Teton rafting trip. Please do not wear cotton, as it will keep you cold when you are wet. It is also a good idea to wear shoes that will stay on your feet, and that you don’t mind if they get wet. Good shoes for the river are something like Teva or Chaco sandals that have straps on the back. Cameras are not advisable, unless they are waterproof, as they will be getting wet. You can leave dry clothes and snacks on the bus for the ride back, and there are changing rooms at the end of the trip. Also remember to wear sunscreen and drink plenty of water prior to your arrival. We provide life jackets, splash tops if needed, the boats and guides, so come and enjoy the finest Snake River white water rafting trips in the Jackson Hole area!

What to expect:

Meet at the Office 15 minutes before your departure time to check in, and we will take care of the rest.  We will transport you to and from the river for each trip and back to our office. Along the way, listen as the guides tell you about the natural history and geography of the Jackson Hole area and enjoy the views of the Teton Range.  Our guides are well versed in the wildlife and geology of the area, and will provide a trip that is both entertaining and safe.

Our Jackson Hole whitewater rafting & scenic trip combo is truly a thrill. On these Grand Teton rafting trips you will go from stunning views, to thrilling rapids and not miss a beat! Start out by selecting the date and time of your scenic float trip and your whitewater trip (The Wilson Scenic and the Classic Whitewater or Small Boat Slam Whitewater). Most groups typically choose to float the scenic stretch first, then we send you down to the Snake River Canyon for some Whitewater!  The two trips combined are approximately 20 miles total on the river, with a short bus or shuttle ride between the scenic portion and the whitewater portion.  Choose between the Classic Big Boat or the Small Boat Slam options for whitewater and combine it with the Wilson Scenic stretch. See your options and how to book your trip by clicking the button below. The minimum age for this trip is 6 years old and is dependent upon water level.

Cancellation Policy:

Teton Whitewater has a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you notify us of your intent to cancel the booked trip outside 48 hours of departure, then we offer a 100% refund. For groups of 10 or more, we have a 1 week cancellation policy. Anyone that cancels before these times will receive a 100% refund. We are limited by the National Forest Service, Park Service, and Teton county as to how many people we can bring down the Snake River on one trip.  If you book a spot on a trip, we are no longer able to sell your seat, therefore, if you cancel within the time of our cancellation policy, we can only refund the money if we can find people to fill the spots you have vacated.
