ABOUT TETON WHITEWATER
Meet Our Team
Arne is Teton Whitewater’s loveable manager/head honcho. Born on the banks of a mystical river, Arne loves kayaking, rafting, laughing, and singing interpretatively. Something interesting about Arne is that he’s a real Norwegian Viking, red beard & all! He is fluent in English, Chinese, and sarcasm. Arne has YEARS of experience on the river and knows it like the back of his hand, believe it or not, he has done over 2,000 runs on the Snake River.
Adventure Matt Pratt is the literal son of the river gods. Matt has graced us with another year at Teton Whitewater and has been guiding for over a decade! Matt helps manage things here at TWW and has a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He loves running rivers along with almost any other outdoor activity. Having spent 2 years in Argentina, he speaks fluent Spanish and loves to speak it any chance he gets!
Marley loves a good hat, a good kombucha, and a good swim in the river.
Kenzie is an experienced guide with a genuine love of the river. Nothing makes her smile more than soaking in a boat on the whitewater or floating the beautiful scenic stretch. When not rafting she can be found skiing the slopes, fiddling up a storm, or exploring the mountains. She is easily bribed with Dr. Pepper and Tacos….
Spencer comes alive in the mountains. He is always ready for a good time and will bring the party on and off the raft. A tall man of no tall tales, he is sure to give you a trip to remember!
Jake adds a lot of skill and ability to TWW. He’s been a guide for a few years now, and you can tell he loves the river. If you get the pleasure of having him as a guide, you’ll notice his trips are always fun, informational, and of course, safe! Jake is from Utah and is currently studying at Utah State University.
Becca is something of a Teton Whitewater legacy. Her big bro Matt brought her to Jackson when she was 16 and she’s been coming back almost every summer since! When she’s not on the water, she can be found reading, doodling, or demolishing her friends at Mario Kart. Whether she wows you with her river knowledge or makes you laugh with her goofy personality, your trip is sure to be a memorable one.
Zach started guiding canoes on the river when he was 16 then moved to guiding whitewater as an 18-year-old. He has a passion for the outdoors and loves Jackson. Carson is the second-best Google Earth Flight Simulator at Teton Whitewater. When he’s not picking up chicks on his moped, you can find him aggressively cultivating his sub-par mustache and practicing his nunchuck and computer hacking skills. Although he’s an avid outdoorsman, he fancies his indoor time by tickling the ivories and watching The Notebook. If you’re in his raft, you’re guaranteed to have the best trip of your entire life!
Kalie lives for the stories. She is a world traveler with the goal to visit all seven continents. She believes experience is the best teacher and loves finding new hidden gems around the world and in her own backyard.
Meet Brad (the B is silent), after a year as a canoe guide Brad was drafted into the big leagues here at Teton Whitewater. If you have him as your guide in a peaceful scenic float or a wild whitewater trip, you’ll learn a lot and have a blast! Even when he’s driving one of our buses you’re sure to have the best bus ride of your life.
When Brad isn’t on the river you can find him at Utah State University studying computer science. In his free time, he enjoys snowboarding, flow boarding, long boarding, wakeboarding, and wake surfing. If you get him to admit it, he is also an avid Minecrafter.
Josh loves adventures. Whether it is in the sky paragliding, on the land mountain biking and rock climbing, or under the water free diving and scuba diving. Most of all, he loves guiding others and helping them have amazing adventures of their own.
Oh, Tanner. The boy who has a fake accent. All he wants to do is be outside. Whether it’s climbing, skiing, or anything in the water he does it all. Even if he isn’t good at it. He is going to be a freshman this year at USU and likes to chatter.
Anna may be small but boy, is she tough. If you ask her how much she can bench, she’ll tell you that she can bench every wave on the Snake River! Along with being a river guide she enjoys rock climbing, backpacking, skiing, or pretty much anything outside. She’s also discovered a new love for mountain biking with her husband Logan. If you’re ever on the river with her, expect an adventure like none other!
Logan sure is a swell guy. When he’s not on the river, he can be found mountain biking and spending time with his wife Anna. Wherever he is, Logan is always down for a good time.
Wazzzzzzzzup. This is Waz and he likes to party. He loves to be on the river, skiing, climbing and is the best crab fisherman at Teton Whitewater. In the fall Waz is a student at BYU-Idaho studying recreational management. He loves meeting new people from all over and guiding them down the river. Waz can guarantee you will have the time of your life whether it’s on the peaceful scenic trip or the wild whitewater trip.
Allie was born and raised in Colorado and currently goes to school at Washington State University (Go Cougs!). She is studying criminal justice and sociology with plans to go into legislative work. She loves anything active, would do nearly anything to say hi to your dog, and is always looking for a new pad thai place to try. But seriously… please introduce her to your pup.
Born and raised in Phoenix, AZ, Ethan is always looking for the next thrill. Whether it be on the river, in the mountains, or playing some sport, he is always going to have a good time trying something new. Currently studying Healthcare administration at BYU-Idaho, he hopes to be working in a hospital someday. He dreams of the day that he can get a tan. Is this the summer for him?
Meet Ysabel. When she is not in Wyoming or Idaho she is pursuing a career in cosmetology. So if you need a haircut after the river she’s the girl to call.
