Once our trained and certified guides take you to the end of the float trip, we will drive you back to the main office where you checked in at. The minimum age for this trip is 4 years old, and all safety gear and equipment will be provided for you.
To find the perfect trip for you and your group, be sure to take a look at all of our Snake River rafting trips.
Your Snake River float trip will be mostly dry, although there might be a few minor splashes throughout. Feel free to bring your camera, some water, and some snacks to enjoy the scenery along the way. All necessary gear will be provided for you, included life jackets. If it happens to rain during your trip, we also have ponchos available for you to use.
Teton Whitewater has a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you notify us of your intent to cancel the booked trip outside 48 hours of departure, then we offer a 100% refund. For groups of 10 or more, we have a 1-week cancellation policy. Anyone that cancels before these times will receive a 100% refund.
We are limited by the National Forest Service as to how many people we can bring down the Snake River on one trip. If you book a spot on a trip, we are no longer able to sell your seat, therefore, if you cancel within the time of our cancellation policy, we can only refund the money if we can find people to fill the spots you have vacated.

Your feet might get wet so please keep that in mind and be sure to choose appropriate footwear. Scenic trips include complimentary water as well as blankets and ponchos in case of inclement weather. Feel free to bring some snacks as well
For Whitewater trips, swimsuits and sturdy footwear are encouraged for this trip, you might even want to consider renting wetsuits or booties from our office to help you stay warm!

On the official Class I – Class V rapids scale, the Snake River is classified as a Class II. This means our stretch of river is an intermediate rating and is great for all rafters!
Be aware that high or low water flows can change river conditions and the experience you might have. Stay informed, and plan your trip accordingly. Our safety record is top-notch, and we focus on mitigating risk, and always put safety first.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WHITEWATER TRIPS AND SCENIC TRIPS?
Our scenic trip is a 13 mile Wilson Scenic float. It’s a beautiful stretch of the Snake River with typically 8 to 10 people on one scenic boat. The Wilson float is great for seeing bald eagles, moose, and other wildlife and scenery!
Our 8-mile whitewater rafting trip includes splashy rapids like Big Kahuna, Lunch Counter, Ropes, and Champagne, so you are sure to get tons of splashes and have a lot of fun!
Both trips include an experienced and trained guide, ask them whatever you want! Both scenic and whitewater trips are amazing and by far the most fun you’ll have in Jackson Hole!
