This trip will be mostly dry, although there might be a few minor splashes throughout. This is a good trip to bring your camera, some water or snacks, and enjoy the scenery. We provide life jackets, the boat, and the guide. If it is rainy out, we also have ponchos available for your use.
What to expect:
Enjoy the scenery of the Teton mountain range and the beauty of Jackson Hole on our 13 mile scenic float trip with incredible views! On this Grand Teton rafting trip, you can see wildlife like Bald Eagles, Rocky Mountain Elk, Moose, Mule Deer, Otters, Beavers, and much more!
Meet at the Office 15 minutes before your departure time to check in, and we will take care of the rest. We will transport you to the put in 10 miles west of Jackson to the town of Wilson, where we begin the 13 mile float on the braided channels of the Snake River. Along the way, listen as the guides tell you about the natural history and geography of the Jackson Hole are, and enjoy the views of the Teton Range. Our Grand Teton rafting guides are well versed in the wildlife and geology of the area, and will provide a trip that is both entertaining and safe, bringing you to the take out 6 miles south of Jackson in the are known as South Park. Hop back on the bus, and a short ride back to town lets you enjoy the rest of your day in Jackson! The minimum age for this trip is 4 years old.
Teton Whitewater has a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you notify us of your intent to cancel the booked trip outside 48 hours of departure, then we offer a 100% refund. For groups of 10 or more, we have a 1 week cancellation policy. Anyone that cancels before these times will receive a 100% refund. We are limited by Teton county as to how many people we can bring down the Snake River on one trip. If you book a spot on a trip, we are no longer able to sell your seat, therefore, if you cancel within the time of our cancellation policy, we can only refund the money if we can find people to fill the spots you have vacated.
